Always keep your program up to date (versions 6 and following)

With the purchase of a new perpetual license (*), 12 months of free updates are provided. Before expiration, you can extend this period by subscribing to an annual Updates and Upgrades – 12 months plan, allowing you to keep the program updated for another year. With the update subscription, you can download any updates and new versions released for your license for an additional 12 months after the free period ends, at no extra cost.

The cost of the update subscription depends on the program and version you own (see options below).

If you decide not to purchase the update extension subscription, you can still continue to use the non-updated program and eventually purchase an upgrade to a new version later. However, please note that the future upgrade cost may be higher than what you would have paid with the subscriptions. Additionally, it may not be possible to generate new activation keys for older versions.

If you purchased the perpetual license with the redemption of a subscription (*), the 12 months of free updates are calculated from the date of the first subscription. Therefore, if the redemption occurs 12 months after the subscription, the program will no longer be updatable without an update subscription.

Update of obsolete versions (version 5 and earlier)

If you own an old license for version 5 or earlier, to update to a new version, you must subscribe to an annual Updates and Upgrades – 12 months plan. The first year’s fee includes the cost of upgrading to the currently distributed version plus 12 months of updates. In subsequent renewals, if the subscription is not canceled, you will only pay the annual fee for 12 months of updates.

If you own multiple licenses or a license with multiple accesses

If you have multiple local licenses activated with a software key or USB key, you can choose to purchase an update subscription for each license or a single subscription for all your licenses. In the latter case, contact Dartwin for instructions.

If your license allows multiple simultaneous logins, activated via Web License or License Server, it is not possible to purchase a single-login subscription. You will need to purchase a single subscription valid for all your logins by contacting Dartwin.
