With this package you can perform thermal analysis in transient and steady-state conditions of any construction element, windows frames and building structures, in compliance with the relevant norms.

Thermal analysis of the window/wall installation joint
The installation joint of a frame is a border zone between two standards: EN ISO 10077-2 for window and EN 10211 for walls. The two norms provide different methods for the calculation of cavities and assignment of the surface resistances. Additionally, for a precise calculation of the linear transmittance Ψ of the thermal bridge between the frame and the building structure, it is necessary to know the actual Uf transmittance of the frame and Ug of glass.

With Building&Frames package you will be able to perform calculation of frames within Mold Simulator. When calculating a window/wall joint it will be therefore possible:

  • to calculate cavities in wall according to ISO 6946 and cavities in frame according to ISO 1077-2
  • to automatically apply an increased surface resistance on the internal frame border, as required by ISO 10077-2
  • to use the library and the calculation functions of the glazing to obtain accurate Ug values and surface temperatures on the glass/frame border


is a two-dimensional or three-dimensional finite element (fem) modeler, for the dynamic and stationary thermal calculation of building structures, thermal bridges and for the analysis of the risk of surface and interstitial condensation in a variable thermal regime of walls, floors, roofs and other building structures.

Mold DYNAMIC allows you to perform simulations with time-varying input parameters. You can assign curves of the trend over time of temperature, humidity and heat flow to the boundaries of the structure (for example, solar radiation on a wall or the heat flow in a radiant system). The curves can be created with the program tools or you can import them from table data, such as climate data files.

Mold DYNAMIC performs a series of finite element analyzes of the structure using successive points on the curves of the boundary conditions and taking into account the results of the previous simulation. In this way, the actual trend over time of the heat flow and temperature is simulated in every point of the structure. It is therefore possible to see, for example, the trend over time in a structure subject to mold or surface condensation as the temperature, humidity and solar radiation on the walls vary. Or you can evaluate the temperature trend on the surface of a wall or a radiant floor when fully operational and during the system’s on and off cycles. Or do the dynamic analysis of Glaser moment by moment and calculate the volume of the condensate and of the re-evaporation in any period of time.

Mold DYNAMIC also automatically carries out further finite element analyzes with periodic input data to calculate all the dynamic characteristics of the complete structure according to the UNI EN ISO 13786 standard such as: heat transfer matrix Z, phase shift, attenuation, area heat capacity, admittances, dynamic heat transmittance, etc. necessary for the summer calculation. It is important to emphasize that these values ​​are detected on the actual structure under examination and therefore also for complex building components including thermal bridges, not only for packages of homogeneous layers as is normally the case.

But that is not all! With Mold DYNAMIC you can also input the conductivity of a material related to temperature or the temperature variation profile along a boundary.

Mold Simulator was developed according to the following standards:

  • EN ISO 6946 “Building components and elements – Thermal resistance and thermal transmittance – Calculation method”
  • EN ISO 10211 “Thermal bridges in buildings – Thermal fluxes and surface temperatures – detailed calculations”.
  • EN ISO 13788 “Hygrothermal performance of building components and elements. Internal surface temperature to avoid critical surface humidity and interstitial condensation”.
  • EN ISO 13786 “Thermal performance of building components – Dynamic thermal characteristics – Calculation methods”.


Frame Simulator is a professional tool that allows you to perform a complete thermal analysis of a window or curtain walling module in a short time.

The program is very easy to install and can be used even if you don’t have great computer or thermal skills. In Frame Simulator you can import drawings in DXF format and it takes a few minutes to pass from the drawing to the final result. The thermal calculation is fast and the results are immediately interpretable with highly effective and realistic images and graphics.

In addition to obtaining the Uf transmittance value and the PSI linear transmittance value of the spacer, with Frame Simulator it is possible to see the trend of the heat flow at each point of the section and identify the most critical areas where to intervene.
The program also clearly indicates the possibility of condensation on the internal surfaces of the frame.

With the Frame Composer module, supplied with the program, it is possible to calculate the thermal transmittance Uw and Ucw of complete windows and doors (frames + glazing) and curtain walls, from simple single-sash windows to complex combinations with many doors, with internal and roller blinds or external taxes. It is also possible to evaluate the contribution of thermal resistance given by the blinds.

Two calculation modules are included in FRAME SIMULATOR PRO:

  • Frame Simulator for the finite element analysis according to UNI EN ISO 10077-2: 2018 of the frame (Uf, Ψ) and bins (Ursb) and for the calculation of curtain walls (UTj, ΨTj) according to ISO 12631: 2017
  • Frame Composer for calculating the Uw transmittance of the entire window or Ucw of the curtain wall, the UG of the glass and the additional resistance of the blinds

The program is validated according to the new UNI EN ISO 10077-2: 2018 standard (calculation of thermal transmittance – numerical method for frames).

Perpetual License Updates
12 months of free updates are provided with the purchase of a new perpetual license.
Upon expiry it will be possible to subscribe to an Updates subscription for another 12 months, thanks to which you will have access to any updates released during the period for your license. The fee for the Updates subscription varies according to the license held.
If after the first 12 months the Updates subscription is not subscribed, it will be possible to continue using the non-updated program and possibly purchase the upgrade to an updated version separately.
The Updates subscription will also grant access to additional confidential documentation.

Perpetual License Upgrades with subscription redemption
In case of purchase of a Perpetual License with redemption of a License subscription in version 6 or later, 12 months of free updates are provided starting from the subscription start date.


When purchasing the software, you can choose between three different activation methods: with Software Key or with USB Key or with Web License.
To use the program simultaneously on multiple computers you need multiple licenses or multiple subscriptions.

Activation with SOFTWARE KEY

Standard activation method, included in the program price.
The program is activated by an alphanumeric activation key, valid for the computer on which it was initially installed.
The activation key is generated and sent within a few hours of payment, based on a code (Computer code) shown during installation, which the user must send us.
Once the license has been activated on a computer, it is always possible to transport it to another machine: by means of a procedure via the internet, it is possible to deactivate the license on the current computer and activate it on another computer.
For a possible reinstallation of the software on the same hardware, the initial procedure is repeated, by entering the same software activation key.
If, on the other hand, the hard disk has been reformatted or all or part of the hardware has been changed, we will provide a spare installation key upon request (this can only be done once).

Activation with USB HARDWARE KEY

Optional activation method – to be purchased separately.
If you choose this mode, the user will receive by registered mail or courier a USB key with all the licenses purchased (one of each type).
Activation instructions will be provided with a separate email, in order to use the programs on any computer (not simultaneously) simply by moving the key from one computer to another.

Activation with WEB LICENSE

Flexible access for smart working with an annual subscription.
Web License allows you to access your licenses anywhere and at any time by entering only your username and password.
This simplified access mode is particularly suitable for work teams that need to share the use of programs remotely.
Any member of the group can start the software by simply entering the username and password provided.
It is also possible to use the software simultaneously based on the number of simultaneities purchased. To use Web License you must already have a license in version 5 or higher.

How to order
Choose from the options shown above and click on “Add to cart”. If you have chosen the activation with a new USB key return to catalog and add a USB key to your order.
Proceed to checkout and fill in all the fields for billing purposes. If you are not already registered, please enter your user name and password. Login is required to download the installation files.

How to pay
You can choose to pay by anticipated bank transfer or by credit card/Paypal.
If you pay by Bank transfer
After you have entered your order you will receive an email confirmation with the details for the transfer. Software activation and shipment of the USB dongle is possible only after we have recorded your payment. If you want to speed up the process, please send us a copy of your payment order by mail.
If you pay by Credit Card / Paypal
To guarantee the highest security level, payment by Credit Card is entirely processed within Paypal. We do not know and therefore do not control in any way your credit card data.
In case of successful payment you will immediately receive confirmation of Order Completed and you can immediately proceed downloading the installation files. If you do not receive our confirmation, it means that the payment did not go through or your credit card was not accepted. Please try again, maybe with another card and if necessary contact us to see if we received the payment confirmation from PayPal (normally this ahppens immediately).

How to obtain your software
The software is delivered by download from this site. There is no provision on physical media. When payment is completed you will receive an email with the link to download the installation file.
If at the time of the order you were already registered as visitor on our website, please wait that your account is authorized for the download (from a few minutes to a few hours).
If you wish, you can also download the installation software from download page after login.

How to activate the program
You can choose between two modes of activation: with software key or with optional USB dongle.
If you choose to activate with software key
After installing and starting the program you will see a code of 8 characters: send it to us via email to get the activation code. We will send you an activation key as soon as we receive confirmation of payment.
If you choose to activate with USB dongle
You will receive the USB dongle by express courier: we will ship it as soon as we receive confirmation of your payment.
